Sunday Masters review – week 18

Waldaf Town kept alive their Division One title hopes, while EDRS hit double figures in Division Two, writes Jeremy Silverstone.

The one game in the Division saw Waldaf Town keep up their slim title hopes alive with a 4-1 win over Brady A. Despite going behind to a Paul Allen goal, two goals each from Richard Davis and Mike Lax ensured that Waldaf secured the victory.

FIXTURES & RESULTS

Lions maintained their top spot with a 7-0 hammering of Marshside. Michael Abraham and Bradley Lazarus both scored hat-tricks, while David Price was also on target.

Meanwhile, EDRS moved into second place as they reached double figures. Tony Platman scored five of their goals, Mark Kingston chipped in with a brace, while Jon Holman, Martin Seifert and Tony Gore completed the rout.

Brady B took the points in their match against Temple Fortune, as goals from Ashley Davidson, Marc Schneiderman and Brian Deal saw them to a 3-1 win. James Ryan scored Fortune’s consolation.
