Sunday Masters review – week 28
NATHAN HORWITZ DIVISION TWO CUP:
London Maccabi Lions booked their place in the final as Michael Abraham’s goal was enough to see them beat EDRS 1-0.
DIVISION ONE:
Brady A and newly-crowned champions North London Raiders shared four goals as Adam Gishen and Josh Burns earned Brady a point after going behind to two first half goals from Raiders’ Andy Bloom and Richard Sacks.
After going 3-0 behind to Scrabble Harmen, Faithfold pulled it back to 5-5, only to concede two late goals in a 7-5 thriller. Paul Stein and Andrew Binstock scored twice each for Scrabble, with Steven Moss, Serge Cowan and Paul Doctors also on target. Ben Lewis scored a hat-trick for Faithfold, Danny Myers claiming their other two.
Top scorers on the day were Chigwell, who thanks in no small part to five goals from Steve Summers, beat Waldaf 9-3. Mark Conway scored twice, with Daniel Castle and Glenn Davis also on target.
