Temple Fortune surprised title contenders Maccabi London Lions by taking the lead through Jeremy Fess, but two goals each from Simon Davidson and Danny Schindler, coupled with strikes from Arthur Duke, Marc Morris and Michael Abrahams saw Lions to a comfortable 8-1 win.

St John’s Wood Tigers beat Brady 7-2 thanks in no small part to a hat-trick from Paul Herszaft and a brace from John Perloff. Adam Soller and Johnny Mansoor capped off their scoring, while Martin Schultz and David Jacobs replied for Brady.

Despite going ahead through Steve Krieger, EDRS encountered dogged resistance from Hendon Harriers, who equalised through Richard Reuben. But further strikes from Martin Seifert and Ian Sassoon, plus a Malcolm Joseph penalty eventually helped EDRS to a 4-1 win as they maintained their 100 percent record to stay top of the table.
