A drunken youth arrested for terrorising Jewish children on a Sydney school bus will attend a Shabbat dinner as part of his punishment.

The minor, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was in a gang of five who hurled abuse at Jewish children as young as 6, shouting “Kill the Jews” and “Heil Hitler.”

An Australian youth court ordered for him to undergo a tolerance program run by the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies.

In addition to attending a Shabbat dinner, he will visit the Sydney Jewish museum and read Primo Levi’s “If This Is A Man” and Elie Wiesel’s “Night.”
