Two new staff at JLC to help Lead

Positions filled to bolster the Jewish Leadership Council's alumnus network and Adam Science leadership programme

Michelle Janes

The leadership development division of the Jewish Leadership Council has taken on two new part-time personnel to bolster the group’s alumnus network and the flagship Adam Science Leadership Programme.

Miriam Lorie, who previously worked on an interfaith initiative and who co-founded Kehillat Nashira, the UK’s first regularly-meeting Partnership Minyan, joins as Lead’s director of programmes and alumni engagement.

Meanwhile Michelle Janes, who has spent years working as Masorti Judaism’s operations director, will become Lead’s director of programmes and consultancy.

“We are delighted that they are joining,” said Lead director Nicky Goldman, confirming that both women will be responsible for the Adam Science Leadership Programme.

“Nurturing leaders in our community is something Michelle and Miriam are very passionate about. Both have many years’ experience working with the Jewish community, and we are looking forward to them bringing their talent and expertise to help develop leadership programmes and resources.”
