Teen arrested after police break up Halloween house party of Jewish teens
Police officers were called to a Barnet house party thought to be attended by JCoSS and JFS pupils
A teenager was arrested last week after police broke up a large Halloween house party in Barnet.
Police officers were called at 10pm to a house on Uphill Road in Barnet on 2 November to reports of a disorder outside a residential address.
The Met Police said a “male was found with facial injuries and taken to hospital,” while “a female was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and taken into custody.”
The group were thought to be 15 years-olds and include JFS and JCoSS pupils, the Jewish Chronicle reported. According to the newspaper, security staff were reportedly hired for the private event.
In a statement, JCoSS headteacher Patrick Moriarty confirmed a “very small number” of JCoSS pupils attended the party.
“We have spoken to those concerned, as well as their parents to ensure their well-being, which is our prime concern,” he told the newspaper.
JFS was contacted for comment.
