Festivals and culture go together like…

Arts and entertainment in abundance this season at JW3 - plus it's nearly panto season

A World Turned Upside Down at JW3

It’s a full-on few weeks with the chagim. In between, JW3 has a packed season of Jewish arts, culture and fun, starting on 30 September with world-renowned pianist Dame Imogen Cooper launching JW3’s Classical Music Series.

On 16 October, five years of the satirical Jewish magazine Private Oy! will be marked with a rare public appearance by its creators Ben and Tilla Crowne.

On 30 October, catch a vibrant chamber concert featuring mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston, arch-lutenist Sergio Buchell and viola da gamba virtuoso Jonathan Manson.

Opera makes its JW3 debut with  A World Turned Upside Down: The Diary of Anne Frank (5 November), a powerful new piece by Juliana Hall, with Ana Balestra as Anne. Brilliant standup Mark Maier’s new show Jewvenile, arrives 18 November and though we don’t want to frighten you, pantomime season starts on 7 December –  with Cinderella and the Mazto Ball.
