WATCH: Should Britain keep funding Palestinian education?

There are growing calls to review UK aid as textbooks continue to feature antisemitic, anti-Israel material

Given the amount of hateful content in school textbooks, should Britain keep funding Palestinian education?

£105 million in UK aid has funded Palestinian education in the last five years — but many textbooks contain antisemitic, anti-Israel material. Campaigners say schoolchildren need to be taught hope, not hate.

Previous editions of textbooks have contained maths exercises asking students to add up the total number of martyrs and a physics question about elastic energy using the image of a masked Palestinian boy aiming a slingshot at approaching soldiers.

Impact-SE chief executive Marcus Sheff and Stephen Crabb MP from the Conservative Friends of Israel appear in this episode of the Sunday View, a semi-regular short documentary series from the Jewish News in the UK.
