Three charged after attempted arson attack on London media site
Incident in Wembley follows Finchley synagogue arson attempt and Hatzola ambulance fires, heightening community concern
Three people, including a 16-year-old boy, have been charged in connection with an attempted arson attack on a Persian media organisation in north-west London, amid heightened concern following the attempted arson at a Finchley synagogue and the arson of Hatzola ambulances.
Oisin McGuinness, 21, Nathan Dunn, 19, and the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are all charged with arson with intent to endanger life, the Metropolitan Police said.
Officers on patrol at around 8.30pm on Wednesday were alerted after an “ignited container” was thrown into the premises in Wembley, landing in a car park.
The suspects are alleged to have fled the scene in a black SUV.
The fire extinguished itself and no injuries were reported.
McGuinness has also been charged with dangerous driving.
All three are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
