Family and friends have paid tribute to a teenager who has died following a motorcycle  accident.

Former JFS student David Pressman, 17, passed away on Monday after being injured in the crash last Wednesday.

A spokesman for the school said: “We were shocked and saddened to hear of David’s untimely death.

“He was an active and valued member of our school community, both as a student officer and a part of many school productions.

“He will be sadly missed by his friends and teachers. We wish the entire Pressman family our heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences at this difficult time.”

In a message on Facebook, his sister paid tribute to her “beautiful baby brother”.

She wrote: “Words won’t be able to describe how much I and all of the family will miss him forever, but none of us will ever forget the incredible impact he left on so many people and he really couldn’t have been a nicer and kinder boy, friend, brother, son if he tried.”

Among the tributes posted by friends is one describing him as “the most selfless, kind, brave and caring person”.

The tribute added: “He was fearless and never gave up on anyone no matter what. He had a love for performing arts and musicals, and was always amazing at what he did, he forever succeeded and was so dedicated.

“He’s been taken way too soon, but has done so many amazing things in these past 17 years, like bungee jumping, 400-mile motorcycle rides, tours, and loads of incredible adventures and memories.”
