A new book by journalist and author Michael Wolff recalls how Donald Trump said “the Jews always flip,” a reference to easily amendable loyalties.

The allegation is made in Wolff’s sequel to ‘Fire and Fury,’ his best-selling fly-on-the-wall account of Trump’s early presidency, published last year.

In the new book, out next week, Wolff said Trump made the remark about Jews after he was angered by a trio of Jewish associates cutting deals with prosecutors in return for giving evidence against the president.

Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen got a reduced sentence, while Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg and the former National Enquirer editor David Pecker got immunity deals in return for cooperating.

On tour promoting his new book ‘Siege: Trump Under Fire,’ Wolff said Trump was not antisemitic but that he knew who was Jewish “in a creepy sort of way”.
