Voice of the Jewish News: See you at Sunday’s #BigFamilyShow!

This week's editorial looks ahead to one of the biggest communal events of the year taking place at the Allianz Stadium this Sunday!

This weekend Jewish News does what Jewish News does best – celebrate our community. This weekend we come together to rejoice at all that unites us and all that’s great about being British and Jewish.

Look around the Allianz Stadium in Mill Hill this weekend and you’ll witness our vibrant community at it joyous, exuberant best.

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis will officially open our Big Family Show & Expo at 10.30am, kicking off a day of non-stop entertainment hosted on the main stage by broadcaster Nick Ferrari and television presenter Rachel Riley. The day’s attractions are outlined in detail on page three of this week’s newspaper. We’ve also lined up more than 130 outstanding exhibitors across eight different zones – from delicious pop-up food stalls to lifestyle, travel and community.

You’ll need to be in a dozen places at once to experience half of this fast-moving day, so you may wish to drop your children off in JLGB’s dedicated Kids & Youth Zone, where they can enjoy safe and supervised fun. Youngsters will love Lazer Quest and our green screen activities, leaving you free to make the most of all that’s on offer.

Sincere thanks to our wonderful sponsors and supporters for helping make the day a reality – Norwood, Savoir Faire, Pituach By The Sea, Jewish Blind & Disabled, JLGB, Torah Action Life and Leivi Saltman Photography, Jasmine Catering and CLC World Resorts & Hotels.

We hope you’ll be inspired and entertained as you savour the countless delights of Jewish-British life. See you on Sunday!
