Warner makes his mark at masters swimming world championships

Open Water swimmer Adam Warner was in action on Monday afternoon when he took part in the 800m race at the FINA masters world swimming championships, which are being held in Kazan, Russia.

Switching his attention to a shorter distance and competing in the 25-29 age group, Warner, representing Hillingdon Swimming Club, finished the race in 11th place, in a time of 9:24.25, 47.42 seconds behind the winner, Russian Alexander Shimin.
