Argentinian star tennis player shows off his fancy-footwork ahead of London Tennis tournament

Diego Schwartzman doing kick-ups on court

Argentinian tennis star Diego Schwartzman may be preparing for Wimbledon, but he’s also handy with his feet!

While practising on court ahead of the opening day of the tournament on Monday, the Jewish player from Buenos Aires, 26, was seen doing keepy-uppies for thirty seconds.

Nearing the end of the clip posted by BBC Tennis, he tries to top off his skills by getting the ball into a bucket, narrowly missing, before throwing his sweatband on the ground.

Schwartzman, who is ranked at 24 on the ATP rankings, kicks off his Wimbledon campaign against Australia’s Matthew Ebden on Tuesday.

The top-ranked Jewish tennis player failed in his bid at last year’s championship, falling in the second round. He was defeated in the Queen’s Club quarter finals by Russian, Daniil Medvedev.
