WATCH: Ken Livingstone grilled over anti-Semitism claims

Relive the former Mayor of London's disastrous media appearance on Daily Politics on Thursday

Jeremy Corbyn is facing calls to permanently expel Ken Livingstone from the Labour Party in the wake of a series of disastrous media appearances by the divisive ex-mayor.

Livingstone appeared on the BBC’s Daily Politics earlier today to issue a response to critics who have accused him of anti-Semitism.

He claimed he had “never heard anyone say anything anti-Semitic” in his 47 years as a Labour member – and maintained that he had “no sympathy with Hitler”.

The veteran left-winger’s interview with broadcaster Andrew Neil – featuring contributions from Labour MP John Mann and former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg – is available in full above.
