What kind of cake are you? Jewish Care’s Bake Day launches!

Find out if you're more of a cheesecake, rugelach or a honey cake - with Jewish Care's fun questionnaire ahead of its sixth annual Bake Day!

Jewish Care’s sixth annual Great Jewish Bake Day has been launched with a fun online quiz, asking “Which Kind of Jewish Cake Are You?

Jewish News is once again media partnering the event – which takes place on 4 July!

As well as encouraging the community to hold bake sales, coffee and cake mornings and garden tea parties, an interactive quiz has been designed to find out if you’re a cheesecake, rugelach or a honey cake!

Funds raised will help keep 15 Jewish Care buses on the road, which make 10,000 journeys each year – travelling 70,000 miles – to take older, isolated members of the community to the charity’s centres, including for those living with dementia.

Jewish Care’s Chief Executive designate and Director of Fundraising & Marketing, said: “Every year as the sun comes out we turn our attention to encouraging people across the community to get baking or eating cakes whilst raising vital funds for our Jewish Care buses that transport older people from across the community to our centres. The Great Jewish Bake Day is also a fun opportunity for people of all ages to get together and enjoy a slice of cake and a chat”.
