Knife-wielding woman charged after shouting ‘I want to kill all you Jews’ in Stamford Hill

A woman who ran at children with a knife in Stamford Hill shouting ‘I want to kill all you Jews’ has been charged with three offences.

This follow an incident on Sunday evening, where police said they were called to “reports of a woman in possession of a knife behaving erratically”, which was reported by neighbourhood watch group Shomrim.

The suspect, named as Marcia Singh, 47, was charged by police on counts of racially/religiously aggravated fear/provocation of violence, possessing a knife and using threatening/abusive behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence.

Police said she was kept in custody to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 19 June.

After the incident was reported to the police by neighbourhood watch group Shomrim on Sunday evening, police said they will “continue to work with community partners to keep Haringey safe”.
