Youth Engagement Worker & Schools Project Worker

Jewish Women’s Aid is the only charity in the UK working with Jewish women, and their children, affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. We run client support services, helplines and web chat, children’s services and education and awareness raising programmes.

We are currently recruiting for two new positions (28-35 hours) within our education team. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals who wish to inspire young people and who can lead conversations around sensitive topics such as healthy relationships, consent and sexual violence. Our ideal candidates will have a strong background in teaching or youth work and will share our vision of establishing a consent culture for all young people in the Jewish community. The following roles are available:

  • Youth Engagement Worker, £23-25,000 pa FTE to reach out to young people within the Jewish community, designing and delivering high quality programmes, focussing on informal settings
  • Schools Project Worker, £23-25,000 pa FTE: to support our vital work in schools, delivering high quality programmes as well as supporting the administration of the education department

These posts will be based in our head office in London and may involve some travel across the UK. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these positions will also involve some remote working.
