The Board of Deputies of British Jews is the voice of the British Jewish Community, the first port of call for the Government, the media and others seeking to understand Jewish community interests and concerns. We are recruiting for 2 roles:

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS

The successful candidate will manage the development of the organisation’s domestic and international public policy; oversee relationships with key stakeholders in UK politics, diplomatic missions, civil society groups and relevant UK and international Jewish communal partners; lead our advocacy and communications functions; and manage the Public Affairs Team.

Salary: £60,000 – 70,000 (dependent on experience)

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY

The successful candidate will manage the development of policy and programmes in the education sector; the creation and deployment of programmes to teach wider society about Jews and Judaism; maintain relationships with the UK Jewish community across all its denominational, geographic and intersectional components; champion and promote our work in these areas; and manage the Education and Community Engagement Team.

Salary: £50,000 – 60,000 (dependent on experience)
