300-year-old chanukah lamp sale

Sotheby’s is selling a spectacular Queen Anne silver Chanukah lamp, dating back to 1711.

Created by London goldsmith Samuel Edlin, it is the second earliest recorded example of an English-made Chanakiah lamp and the oldest available to buy.
