Jewish teen murder suspects gunned down in dawn raid
The abductors of three Israeli teens have been successfully targeted by Israeli security and defence forces overnight, writes Jack Mendel
Israeli forces sought to apprehend Hamas terrorists Marwan Kawasme and Amer Abu Aysha, who were responsible for the death of three Israeli teens, Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frenkel.
The terrorist suspects had been located in Hebron through ‘precise intelligence’ according to the Israel Defence Force (IDF) statement.
According to the statement, the terrorists opened fire, and forces returned fire, successfully hitting their targets after a three month long manhunt.
IDF Spokesperson Lt. Col. Peter Lerner said that “the lethal abduction and murder attack prompted ‘Operation Brother’s Keeper’, during which security forces located the bodies of the victims and succeeded in striking and severely impairing the Hamas terrorist organization in the region.”

The IDF Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz added that “We promised the families that we would find the murderers. This morning, we did just that. This isn’t a consolation for the grieving families.. but I hope that knowing we reached their children’s murderers may slightly comfort them.”
