Aish UK raises £2.5m for young Jews to mark 30th anniversary
More than 5,000 people donated to the educational charity to help it "connect young Jews with their story, creating a Jewish future".
One of the leading Jewish educational charities in the UK has raised an incredible £2.5 million from over 5000 donations in a 36-hour fundraising campaign.
Aish UK has been providing Jewish connection to thousands of young Jews every year for the last 30 years.
With a presence in 15 schools, 20 university campuses and 25 communities throughout the UK, the organisation offers impactful educational programmes, events and trips.
Its team of 35 dedicated educators has witnessed over 100% increase in trip attendees over the past year, and a 75% increase in participation for events, demonstrating the growing demand for meaningful Jewish experiences.
Aish UK has been an integral communal organisation in the UK for the last 30 years with an impressive 23% of Jewish marriages in mainstream Anglo-Jewry between 2001-2021 being Aish UK alumni.

The generosity of over 5000 donors will enable us to expand our programs and initiatives, ensuring that more young Jews across the UK can benefit from meaningful experiences and connect with their Jewish story, creating a Jewish future.”

With close to 200 teams and 5000 individual donors across the UK we were able to make this incredible fundraising effort possible. We will continue to create more innovative programmes and reach even more young Jews in schools, campuses and young professional communities!”
