The Met Police and the Mayor of London have been asked to close a website advertising a far-right rally at Golders Green station on 4 July, protesting the “Jewification” of London.

Boris Johnson and Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan Howe have been asked by London Assembly member Andrew Dismore to take down the site, which is hosted by WordPress, a publishing platform popular with bloggers.

“It’s like something out of [Nazi newspaper] Der Sturmer,” said Dismore. “It seems intended to incite race hate and I believe its promoters should be prosecuted.”

Organisers of the rally, which will include groups such as British Movement, London Forum and New Dawn, accuse Jews of “instigating mass third-world immigration” and “enforced white genocide”.

Jews are also accused of “brainwashing children” and of controlling “the economy, banking, political parties, foreign policy, parliament, security services, policing, academia, education, publishing, media, bookselling, entertainment, fashion, sport, pornography and paedophilia”.

A petition to the Home Secretary calling for the rally to be banned passed 10,000 signatures last week:  Ban the planned Neo Nazi Rally on July 4, 2015 in Golders Green, London
