Ben Haim signs for Charlton Athletic

Israeli defender Tal Ben Haim has returned to English football having signed a one-year deal with Charlton Athletic.

The 32-year-old enjoyed a prolonged career in England, notably with Bolton Wanderers, though also spent time at Chelsea, Manchester City, Sunderland, West Ham and QPR, in total making 181 appearances for his various clubs.

He spent last year playing in Belgium, under the former Israeli U21 manager at Standard Liege.
