Nazi hunters, Holocaust atrocities and social stigmas top the bill of Jewish-interest films showing as part of this year’s BFI London Film Festival.

Christopher Plummer stars in Remember, a provocative study of an elderly German Jew determined to track down a Nazi commandant who ordered the death of his family.

Director Atom Egoyan will attend the first public screening at Chelsea Curzon on 10 October.

The festival also includes My Nazi Legacy, a documentary about two men whose fathers were high-ranking Nazi officers; Son of Saul, about a Sonderkommando at Auschwitz-Birkenau; and Israeli drama Wedding Doll, about a 24-year-old girl with learning disabilities who dreams of getting married.

The BFI London Film Festival runs from 7 to 18 October.
