Bridge champion comes up trumps for Resource

Andrew Robson, who writes about the game for The Times, led a tutorial for 120 guests at  Finchley reform synagogue.

A professional card player showed his hand at an exclusive event for Resource’s 30th anniversary.

The bridge columnist for The Times, Andrew Robson led a tutorial for 120 guests at  Finchley reform synagogue.

Bridge player Wendy Hoffman said: “Learning how to improve my game whilst simultaneously raising money for such an important charity as Resource, was a great privilege and joy.”

Employment charity Resource supports around 1,000 people across the country to find work every year.

Lunch was provided for guests, including family and friends, volunteers, staff and trustees giving them an opportunity to learn more about how Resource helps the community back into work.
