Four brothers from Golders Green brought smiles to the faces of children during the lockdown by raising more than £18,000 to purchase toys for 600 families.

Mikey, 22, Avi, 20, Dudi, 16, and Amiel Dubiner, 7, raised the amount together with the charity Shabbat Walk by running a combined distance of 43 miles in their back garden.

They broadcasted their runs on YouTube, with over 1,200 online users viewing the video since it was uploaded earlier this month.

Avi, a former Shabbat Walk coordinator, said: “This project was a huge success, and it just shows how easy it is for the community to come together and help each other out at times like these, which are so difficult for some.”
