Being a Jewish student at University has many different impacts, ranging from isolating people to inspiring students to act.

This is your chance to make your voice heard and connect with people about important issues on campus.

Whether you’re on a campus with a small number of Jews such as Heythrop College, or at a University with a big Jewish student populations, such as Birmingham, there are always issues to think about.

With many diverse challenges from kashrut and challenging anti-Semitism, to issues relating to Israel and interfaith, it can be difficult to make yourself heard.

So what can you report on? If it is important to you then it could be valuable to report on!

Whether your passion is writing or film-making, photography or the radio, the Jewish News is seeking out talented and ambitious correspondents to report in their chosen field.

You could report on specifically Jewish issues, or more specifically student related issues with a Jewish angle.

Perhaps you’re into politics, and can write about what it’s like to be Jewish on campus?

Maybe you could give an insight into others reaction to you being Jewish, and how it has affected you?

Or you might be a culture-buff, who can give us the low-down on gigs, films & theatre with a Jewish theme?

It could even be the case that you’ve got a knack for humour, and can write funny Buzzfeed style articles about issues that affect Jewish students?

Whatever you’re into, we’re looking for students with an interest in the media to report from your campuses on a regular basis.

We welcome photos, videos and articles about topical events and issues that relate to the Jewish community and Jewish students.

If this sounds like it is for you, then send some information about yourself and what you’d like to report on.

Please send your details to the online editor of the Jewish news jackm@thejngroup.com, and you could become a Jewish News

Campus Correspondent for your university very soon! If successful, we may also be able to offer advice and feedback, the opportunity to gain work experience at our office in London, and vital media experience for your CV.

We look forward to hearing from you!
