Charities wish Prince Charles speedy recovery after testing positive for virus
Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, Jewish Museum London and World Jewish Relief wish their Royal patron better after the 71-year-old is forced to self-isolate
Communal charities which Prince Charles is patron of have wished him well, after he tested positive with coronavirus.
The Prince of Wales, 71, is self-isolating at home in Scotland after displaying mild symptoms, Clarence House announced.
He is with the Duchess of Cornwall, 72, who does not have the virus, and “remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual”.
The Jewish Museum London wished him well, saying: “We are sorry to hear that our Patron, Prince Charles has tested positive for coronavirus. We’re grateful for his continued support of the museum, particularly in relation to our work with young people and wish him a full and speedy recovery.”
World Jewish Relief’s Chief Executive, Paul Anticoni, said on Twitter: “All of us at WJR wishing His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, our wonderful Royal Patron, a full and speedy recovery“.
