Chief Rabbi Mirvis joins rabbis and rebbetzens at unity conference

Jewish Futures together with JLE (Jewish Learning Exchange), SEED and the Rabbinical Council of the United Synagogue hosted the 11th annual Aleinu conference in an incredible show of unity between outreach organisations.

The two-day event at South Hampstead Synagogue brought together an assembly of distinguished figures from across the UK Jewish community including Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis.

The conference serves as a platform for communal leaders to share insights, best practices, and perspectives on outreach strategies within the UK.

Aleinu also aims to increase collaborations between communal organisations and unite them and the Rabbinate by building personal connections.

Israel’s President Herzog sent a message for the Aleinu attendees: “As you gathered together in these dark and difficult time for the 11th annual Aleinu conference, in this time of crisis we meet not only in darkness and grief but also the deep power of people of an eternal people.

“People who are united and strong are unbeatable and is a power that those at Aleinu are well aware of and is why you come together, for over a decade now to help open hearts and foster a sense of holiness and connection within am Y’israel.”
