More than 120 families enjoyed a fun-filled day out at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicester
Camp Simcha families got into the fast line with a sports car experience day last week. Organised by charity HabAid, more than 120 family members were taken to Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicester to enjoy ride-alongs in Ferraris, Porsches, Audis, BMWs and other sports cars. Chief executive Neville Goldschneider said: “It was a fun and adrenalin-filled day and a great way to try to forget some of the daily troubles our families have to face.”
Twenty-two Holocaust survivors, refugees and members of their families joined a London Jewish Cultural Centre outing to Buckingham Palace.
Jewish Care has won the ‘Mind the Gap’ and ‘Digital World’ category in an Age Action Alliance competition. The charity will receive £100 worth of Currys PC World vouchers and a £100 donation.
