Hundred of British Jews to take part in Good Deeds weekend to spread light in the darkness

Jewish News has partnered with the United Synagogue to encourage the Jewish community to perform an act of kindness this weekend.

Following the horrific events in Israel of 7th October, US chief executive Jo Grose is asking people to post a picture of their gesture of social action online.

She says: “The world seems very dark right now. Help bring more light into the world by doing an act of kindness this weekend. We’ve put two dozen ideas on our website (www.theus.org.uk/weekend) but you’re welcome to do your own. Some are Shabbat-friendly, others can be done on Friday and Sunday.”
