The initiative, in partnership with Mitzvah day, recognises those who have performed an extraordinary act of kindness over the past 12 months or worked tirelessly over many years to help those in need.
The eventual winner will follow in the footsteps of last year’s recipient Adam Cramer, who dived into treacherous waters to rescue a teenager only weeks after having life-saving surgery.

The deadline to nominate has been extended to 4 November.
