Eton boys discuss faith at forum with Chief Rabbi

Eton Boys of the Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist Classes, together with boys from the wider college attended the college’s annual Faiths Forum event, where they heard from the Chief Rabbi about how Judaism’s messages hold universal resonance.

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis spoke about “fulfilling one’s full potential while acknowledging and learning from potential risks”, while also speaking about the importance of every human giving – be it to one’s family, to the poor or to refugees.

He also described one’s mission in life as “being remembered beyond one’s days”. Jewish pupils and their parents were invited to a reception hosted by headmaster Simon Henderson, with kosher catering provided by Jewish Chaplaincy.
