Ex-Masorti chief to head fundraising at Nightingale Hammerson
Jeremy Kelly took the new role after several years as head of the Ben-Gurion University Fondation, with previous experience at JNF UK too
The former chairman of the Assembly of Masorti Synagogues is to head up communications and fundraising at Nightingale Hammerson, which runs two large Jewish residential care homes in London.
Jeremy Kelly, who took the new role after several years as chief executive of the Ben-Gurion University Foundation, has previously headed fundraising for JNF-UK and is well-known in the Jewish community.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone as experienced as Jeremy joining our team,” said Nightingale Hammerson chief executive Helen Simmons. “His proven track record in increasing fundraising revenues and expanding support in his previous charity roles will be vital.”
Kelly said he was “delighted” to be joining the charity, which “occupies a special place in the heart of London’s Jewish community”.
The organisation owns and runs two care homes – Nightingale House in south London and Hammerson House in north London. The former last month received an ‘outstanding’ accreditation from the Care Quality Commission, while Hammerson House is currently undergoing a major redevelopment.
