‘Expel Ken! Corbyn Out’ banner flies over Wembley Stadium

Plane carries message over iconic venue during Arsenal vs Manchester City FA Cup semi-final.

A plane carrying a banner which read ‘Expel Ken! Corbyn Out’ flew over Wembley Stadium yesterday afternoon.

Piloted by Simon Moores of Airads, the stunt aimed to draw attention to allegations of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party and Ken Livingstone’s continued membership, despite claiming Hitler supported Zionism.

A spokesperson said: “We were over the moon to get the message Expel Ken! Corbyn Out flying over Wembley.

“Livingstone’s continued membership shows that the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn isn’t serious about fighting anti-Semitism. Instead of watching them make a mockery of the issue, we wanted to make a mockery of them. For many people affiliated with Labour it’s a time of fight or flight. We decided to do both, and fight through flight.

“Big credit to the pilot, Simon Moores of Airads, who went ahead like a mensch, even though we hadn’t quite raised enough, and managed to fit his headset over his shtreimel.

“This was a crowdfunded campaign giving lots of people a chance to chip in and have their voice heard. As for the future, we’re taking it one game at a time.”
