A Finchley law firm has got into the Mitzvah Day spirit by creating special Chanukah cards to send to severely disabled children in Israel.

Held in honour #Mitzvah4Pittsburgh, associates and partners at OGR Stock Denton Solicitors joined forces over pizza and snacks as they created special sensory Chanukah cards which will be sent to ALEH in Israel, to brighten up the children’s holiday and to decorate their bedrooms at the ALEH Centre in Jerusalem.

The Director of the British Friends of ALEH, Liron Rosiner Reshef, joined them on the day, and spoke about ALEH’s transformative rehabilitation and care approach, together with its comprehensive services which changes the lives of more than 750 children and young adults across Israel.

Moved by the presentation and stories of ALEH’s children, those who took part commented on how much they enjoyed making the cards and how meaningful it felt to bond with the children in creating the cards which they could physically feel and appreciate.
