Garage refuses to sell to Israeli: ‘They’re the same as ISIS’

A garage owner in Oldham has refused to sell to an Israeli because “they’re the same as ISIS”.

Jack de Lowe, who resides in Israel, was told in an email that the garage “does not … ship to such non-existent countries. However delivery to Palestine can be arranged at a sensible price”, reported by HEATSTREET.

The owner, Mursal Israr, said “we wouldn’t do business with ISIS, [so] we wouldn’t do business with Israel. They’re the same thing”.

He added “we don’t recognise the state of Israel” because of “innocent Muslims and people…getting killed there on a daily basis”.

Responding to the suggestion that Jack de Lowe wasn’t a representative of the country but merely a citizen, Israr said “he shouldn’t live there then”.
