Hamas terrorists praised in speech by activist at far-left festival

Yasmin Elsouda, an activist and member of the Palestinian Youth Movement, told attendees at The World Transformed festival in Liverpool ''Yesterday over 230 of our siblings… ascended to martyrdom at the hands of the Zionist entity'

Hamas terrorists responsible for the barbaric attacks on Israel have been openly praised at a far-conference in Liverpool, set up by far-left activists to run at the same time as the official Labour one.

Speaking at an event on Sunday at The World Transformed festival in Liverpool, Yasmin Elsouda was reportedly applauded as she told around 100 people in attendance:”Yesterday over 230 of our siblings… ascended to martyrdom at the hands of the Zionist entity.

“The current Zionist government has in no uncertain words been calling for genocide, another Nakba.

“Despite this, our Palestinian resistance has once again taken the failed Zionist entity by surprise and has declared enough is enough.”

Elsouda, an activist and member of the Palestinian Youth Movement, was a speaker at an event marking 75 years since the establishment of the state of Israel, or the Nakba or ‘catastrophe’ as it known by Palestinians.

According to the Daily Mail she added:”I’m honoured to be speaking at such an historic moment, certainly in my lifetime, in our struggle…”

The World Transformed as set up under Jeremy Corbyn’s leaderaship to allow far-left ideas and activists the opportunity to gather and share ideas at the same time as the Labour conference.

Corbyn attended the festival on Sunday, although he is not believed to be at the event at which Elsouda spoke.

Because the event takes place outside the official Labour conference arena, the party are powerless to stop it being staged.
