IN PICTURES: Borehamwood & Elstree shul celebrate 60 years

Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue celebrated its 60th anniversary at a gala dinner at Allianz Park last Thursday, writes Avital Mendelsohn.

Among the 250 guests were Sir Eric Pickles MP, former Communities Minister and newly-appointed chairman of Conservative Friends of Israel, as well as Rabbi Chaim Kanterovitz and chairwoman Anne Gordon. Singing waiters entertained during the event, which was held as part of a year’s worth of anniversary celebrations.
