IN PICTURES: Jerusalem Marathon sees 25,000 runners from 60 countries
Tadesa Dabi from Ethiopia won the fifth annual Jerusalem Marathon on Friday, greeting Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat at the finish line.
Dabi, 26, finished in a time of two hours, eighteen minutes and 26 seconds.
Approximately 25,000 runners from 60 different countries participated in the marathon around Israel’s capital.
The Jerusalem Marathon is considered more difficult than the usually hotter Tel Aviv Marathon, because it is more hilly, and that requires more exertion than in flat Tel Aviv.
