In pictures: JNF raises a glass to Israel!

More than 60 people savoured to taste Israel’s finest wines at a JNF UK event in Primrose Hill.

The owner of the host restaurant offered guests seven different red and white wines from across Israel from the Negev in the south to the Golan in the north. Restaurant owner Morfudd Richards, a former Maitre’d at the Ivy, helped guests learn how to recognise and describe blends through their aroma.

The Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, a red wine from Sde Boker in the Negev, was voted the best tipple of the night. All proceeds raised by JNF at the event went towards Ezra Lemarpe – bringing state-of-the-art medical care to Negev desert.
