Having made millions from films entirely unsuitable for prime-time TV, it’s now time for something completely different from adult actress Jenna Jameson – the former ‘Queen of Porn’ is to star in a reality show following her upcoming conversion to Judaism.

Jameson – who has carved out an unlikely online niche as an outspoken devotee of Jewish culture – is engaged to Israeli diamond merchant Lior Bitton, who told Tel Aviv’s Walla! News that the cameras will be rolling as he and his famous fiancee prepare for their big day.

41-year-old Jameson, who retired from the porn industry in 2008, has until now been content with sharing her conversion journey – featuring lavish Shabbat dinners, snippets of Hebrew and statements of support for Israel – with her legions of followers on social media… much to the surprise of those accustomed to her usually risqué output.

The Las Vegas native also kept kosher during a recent appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, and had previously told fans that blogging her conversion to Judaism was “a lovely idea”.

Bitton, a convicted insurance fraudster, has optimistically likened the as-yet unreleased show to US sensation Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and has reassured trepidatious would-be viewers that Jameson, a one-time Oxford Union speaker, wouldn’t be reprising any of her greatest hits.

The Los Angeles jeweller, 41, said: “It’s a bit stressful, because I’m not used to being in front of the cameras. But I can assure you there won’t be any ‘adult content’ in the show. I’m not going there.”

Though reports suggest the rights have been bought by Israel’s Channel 2, it is yet unclear when the currently untitled show will air.
