Jewish group launches online learning courses to help ‘practical spirituality’

New Maimonides courses 'take some of the most important, complex, and often-asked questions in Judaism and transform them into an online learning experience'.

A Jewish charity offering networking and informal education for Jews aged 16-35 has launched three new online learning courses aimed at tackling Jewish philosophy, Jewish history and “practical spirituality”.

Aish UK’s Rabbi Ari Kayser said the new Maimonides courses “take some of the most important, complex, and often-asked questions in Judaism and transform them into an online learning experience”.

Each course costs £49 and offers a series of videos “dealing head-on with some of the most difficult questions philosophers have been grappling with for millennia,” the history of the Jewish people and “the unbroken tradition of Jewish spiritual practice”.

Kayser said the Maimonides series was the charity’s first ever online courses “and one of the most exciting projects I have worked on,” adding: “It is open to everyone and we are excited to offer it to a worldwide audience.”
