More than 150 talented dancers took to the stage to launch the first ever Jewish Inter-Schools Dance festival.

The event was organised by troupe Dancing With Louise, (DWL) held at JFS in Kenton and welcomed more than 350 family and friends to watch the children perform their hearts out.

The festival was held in association with community charity Kisharon.

DWL’s pupils represented 12 Jewish primary schools and gave performances across HipHop, Dance Gymnastics, Drama & Musical Theatre.

DWL principle Louise Leach tells Jewish News: “We were thrilled to launch this exciting event, giving our school club students the chance to perform and showcase in front of family and friends what they have been learning in class.

“The positive energy and excitement on the day was so uplifting and the children had the best time performing. Supporting Kisharon who provide full time education for children with learning disabilities made the event even more meaningful”.
