A Jewish woman has admitted making a bomb hoax to a synagogue three years ago.

Claire Mann texted a United Synagogue rebbitzin to warn that a device had been planted at Finchley United shul – planning to pin it on another parent at her daughter’s Jewish primary school.

The 43-year-old admitted one count of committing an act or series of acts with the intent of perverting the course of justice during an appearance at Wood Green Crown court.

She will be sentenced at the same court on 30 August.
