The Jewish national fund (JNF) has bought three mobile bomb shelters to protect members of the Bedouin community, to be delivered next week.

Up to 60,000 Bedouin in Rahat were left exposed to rockets from Gaza this summer, because temporary dwellings are not recognised as settlements by the Iron Dome missile defence system.

Two of the new units, measuring 3 metres by 3 metres, will be distributed to schools. The other will be stationed at a nursery.
