Kisharon commended at Care England 2022 conference

National Director for Digital Transformation in the NHS Matthew Gould said he heard some fantastic feedback from Kisharon regarding its digitalising of social care records

Kisharon’s success in digitalising its social care records was highlighted this week at a Care England 2022 conference in central London.

Staff at Kisharon now spend more time with the people they support thanks to the introduction of iplanit software, said Matthew Gould, National Director for Digital Transformation in the NHS.

Speaking to care providers from across the UK, he said: “I think it really demonstrates what the aim of this work is. The end goal isn’t about increasing the use of technology itself, but ensuring we can make best use of technology for improving care and free up valuable time.

“We have recently heard some fantastic feedback from Kisharon, a Jewish enterprise caring for people with learning disabilities and their families.”

iplanit lets users and their families track progress and milestones through an electronic record system. Carers have access to all the information they need about a person’s care in one place.

Hadassa Kessler, Director of Operations, Kisharon said: ”iplanit is an exciting project made possible through the enthusiasm and hard work of our dedicated staff team.

“We are able to spend less time on paperwork and more meaningful time with the people we support leading to better outcomes. It’s fantastic that Care England were able to spotlight Kisharon in this way.”
