Kisharon users compile easy-to-read Pesach guide

The charity is looking to raise funds by selling the guide, available from their social enterprise shop

Jewish service users of special needs charity Kisharon have compiled and illustrated their own 16-page guide to Pesach (Passover).

The easy-to-read story booklet – which has been designed to accompany the traditional Pesach Haggadah (Jewish text) – aims to help explain the Pesach Seder (ritual feast) to people of all backgrounds.

Money raised from the sale of the guide, which is available from Kisharon’s social enterprise shop, will help fund the charity’s ongoing appeal.

Chief executive Beverley Jacobson said: “Seder night is a time when everyone at the Seder is encouraged to ask questions and we want to empower all those around the table to ask their own questions. This guide gave many of the people we support the opportunity to engage with Pesach by sharing their creative visual interpretation.”
