Leyton Orient duo make Mitzvah Day visit
Leyton Orient players David Mooney and Moses Odubajo paid a Mitzvah Day visit to residents of Jewish Care’s Vi & John Rubens House in Redbridge.
Striker Mooney told the residents: “If we win the league then we’ll bring the trophy here and we can all celebrate together. We’ll have a big party.”
Neil Taylor, Director of Care and Community Services at Jewish Care, said: “Leyton Orient Football Club now has a wonderful relationship with the home and the residents look forward to the visit of the players every year – and this year hopefully they bring some of their current football magic to their lives”.
